PVUC has had a continuing connection to the Howard Hospital, Zimbabwe, for several years.

Two of our Parish Nurses went to Zimbabwe and served the patients there for several weeks. In addition we have provided and helped to co-ordinate the gathering of substantial contributions of medical supplies, general hospital items and financial gifts.

Dr. Paul Thistle visited PVUC in October 2006 to bring greetings and the latest news from the hospital.

The two nurses are hopeful that they will be able to offer another 'tour of duty' at the hospital in the future.
