New members' evening
Joining the church is possible in several ways:
by Profession of Faith
- for those who have never been a member of another congregation
(if necessary, this may be in conjunction with adult baptism)
by Reaffirmation of Faith
- if your membership (here or at another congregation) has lapsed
by Transfer
- if you are currently a member of another United Church congregation.
by Confirmation
- usually for teenagers
- have been baptized in the United Church, now wish to join as full adult members
In all situations we will do our best to answer your questions about the practices and
policiies of the United Church and the Christian faith generally. We invite you to see exploring membership as an opportunity to deepen your faith, to express your doubts and your visions, and to celebrate your desire to follow Christ within a church community and in the world at large.
